APPLYING TO THE NYSCA LITERATURE PROGRAM

CLMP/NYTAP and LitTAP, (the NYS Literary Presenters Technical Assistance Program) are once again pleased to invite their NY State-based publishers and literary presenters/organizations to NYSCA's annual "Applying to NYSCA" application seminar. NYSCA Staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance on applying to the Literature Program. (NYSCA's registration deadline for FY07 grants is 3/1/06 -- guidelines available at www.nysca.org). Representatives from Poets & Writers and the www.nyslittree.org website will also be on hand to discuss services available to NYS literary non-profits. Special guest Amy Stolls from the NEA Literature Program will be in attendance as well and will be available to discuss the NEA application process at the conclusion of the NYSCA portion of the seminar.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own "brown bag" lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Directions to NYSCA:
NYSCA's offices are located at 175 Varick Street, between King Street and Charlton Street, in Lower Manhattan. Varick Street is the southern-most section of Seventh Avenue. The office is within walking distance of Greenwich Village, Soho, Tribeca, and the Hudson River. Subway: #1 train to Houston Street (the King Street exit is one block north of NYSCA), or E train to Spring Street stop (walk one block west to Varick and two blocks north to Charlton). Bus: Houston Street Bus (#21) west to Varick Street stop, or the Seventh Avenue bus (#20) south to Houston Street stop. Walk two blocks south on Varick to NYSCA offices.
