The Table Review has an open seat!
The Table Review is now open for submissions of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and interview pitches. We’re an independent, writer-led literary magazine based in Brooklyn, publishing work that’s carefully made, honestly rendered, and impossible to ignore—from emerging and established writers alike.
We welcome essays, memoir, and creative nonfiction of all kinds; literary, genre, and experimental fiction; poetry in any form or style; and interview pitches driven by theme, process, or idea. We read every submission with the care it deserves and respond to all within four months.
There is currently no fee to submit.
Submission Guidelines
- Fiction: 8,000 words max
- Nonfiction: 10,000 words max
- Poetry: up to 4 poems
- Interviews: pitches welcome; completed interviews 2,500–4,000 words
All work must be previously unpublished, in English, and entirely your own (no AI-generated writing). Submit through our Submittable with a cover letter.
There’s room at the table. We hope you’ll join us.
