Washington Square Review is an award-winning literary journal publishing new fiction, poetry, and translations, as well as interviews with prominent authors. It is published biannually by the NYU Graduate Creative Writing Program.

Submission periods: August 1 through October 15 and December 15 through February 1.
Poetry: submissions should not exceed ten pages/five poems. Fiction: submissions should not exceed twenty pages. Please submit one story per submission.Translations: please submit both the original and the translation whenever possible.Simultaneous submissions are acceptable. Response time is generally 2-4 months.
