Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Garden sprouted as a one-woman idea inside a small, sea-salted café nestled before the rolling waves of the Pacific Ocean. This journal opens with the intent to cultivate a safe space for all forms of literature, art, and writers, and to act as a supportive patron for us all, too.

Submissions Policy
Garden isn’t too picky when it comes to stories. We believe in cultivating a diverse environment of content, genres, forms, styles, and experiments. We want writers to send us their best work, that which they wish to share with us, and we’ll read it. There are a few specifics. For length, we don’t accept any novel length manuscripts, as we don’t have the capacity or resources quite yet to provide the support a novel would deserve. We would like for writers within reason to deliver us a document using a standard manuscript format.
