Red Planet is an independent literary magazine emphasizing a theme of speculative fiction, open for submissions year-round to writers and artists from across the galaxy. A new issue is published each month featuring works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and art. Red Planet Magazine grew from a desire to create accessible space for writers to submit their work without paying a fee, and publish creative content at an affordable rate. Red Planet aims to build a business model that balances the needs of artists and audiences alike.

Submissions Policy
All submissions can be sent to [email protected] Submissions are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. A new issue is published each month. Red Planet is committed to replying to all submissions within 30 days. Simultaneous submissions or works that have been previously published are not accepted at this time. Submissions should be limited to one piece per month (multiple poems are allowed so long as the total word count is under 500). Red Planet Magazine accepts short fiction and nonfiction, poetry, and art.
