Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Saint Julian Press as a literary and educational organization embraces a vision to create a local and worldwide community. Our desire is to engage in an artistic and diverse dialogue that promotes world peace, multicultural conversations, enlightened minds, compassion, and an interfaith awareness, appreciation, and acceptance. In our mission as a new creative imprint, we aspire to identify, encourage, nurture, and share transformative literature and art of both past and living masters. While giving emerging artists, poets, and writers a place they may come home to and share their work; celebrating the lasting mystery within creation that calls humanity into an enduring relationship with one another.

Saint Julian Press has only one annual reading period, usually from the beginning of January through the end of February each year. We normally waive reading fees for graduate students or emerging artists and academics that need financial assistance. Saint Julian Press follows a non-traditional innovative literary press and environmentally friendly print-on-demand publishing model that works intimately with each artist and author. We are not accepting new submissions until late 2021 thru early 2022. We will accept unsolicited manuscripts on a case by case basis, especially for emerging writers. We often receive recommendations from educators in the academic world.
