We invite you to be a part of the 2017 READ & FEED Festival of Literature and Food to take place Sunday, July 23rd, at Basilica Hudson in Hudson, NY. This year will feature a special focus on John Ashbery’s 90th birthday (a Hudson, NY resident). The Festival will take place during the day from noon – 5PM, making it an easy day-trip from NYC and various locations in Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut. This year, the main “Festival Stage” will also be in the main space—featuring a complete reading of Ashbery’s Girls on the Run by an all-star set of readers and a variety of other exceptional happenings—along with venders (that’s the space, above). Additionally, the audience ticket prices have been reduced and now include discounts for seniors/students as well (to $15 — $10 senior/student). We’re going to have a “Citizen’s Soup Kitchen” featuring nouvelle Indian cuisine for cheap and plenty of other food offerings, LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs cooking up greens and salmon cakes while talking poetry, “Temporary Canada” (become a Canadian citizen for the day!) and lots more.
To secure your registration, please fill out the form below. Tables may be shared by two publishers. Note that if sharing, the full registration fee must be paid by only one of the publishers.
