Travel Grants Available for NYS Publishers

Apply now to receive $100 toward the cost of organizational travel.

The NYTAP Literary Publishers’ Travel Fund is intended to assist publishers in taking advantage of activities, opportunities and resources that contribute to the professional development and advancement of the organization.

New York State-based literary presses and magazines are invited to apply on a rolling basis. Before submitting, please contact NYTAP Director Montana Agte-Studier (magte-studier@clmp.org) to inquire if funds are still available for this year.

Non-CLMP members may apply for NYTAP travel grants but must become members before funds can be awarded.

NYSCA NYTAP 2017 Travel Grant Online Application

Note: Non-CLMP members may apply for NYTAP travel grants but must become members to be awarded funds.
  • NB: Only organizations incorporated in NYS may apply. Organizations without their own 501(c)3 status may apply using a NYS fiscal sponsor. Reimbursement checks can only be written to a 501(c)3 organization.
  • You do not need to include a full travel budget, simply the cost of the item or items for which reimbursement is sought. For example, if you will be taking a train to a conference and staying over, but the travel request will go toward only one of those budget items, include only the cost of that one item.
  • You may request up to $250 toward your travel.
  • Please briefly describe the purpose of your intended travel, noting exactly how funds will be used. IMPORTANT: After completing and submitting this form, please email .pdf of travel receipts to magte-studier@clmp.org. Note that funds are only paid in the form of reimbursement upon satisfactory submission of receipts.
