Annual Checkups
CLMP sends all active members “It’s time for your annual checkup” reminders every year, but in fact may schedule a meeting with CLMP staff at any time.
An Annual Checkup consists of meeting with CLMP staff (in-person or virtually) and telling us what you’re up to—we’re then able to help you by sharing best practices to address basic technical assistance issues, help you address more complex challenges, and share with you how your colleagues have addressed similar issues. We may then work to facilitate sharing of information both from and to selected colleagues.
At any time, please contact with questions or issues we might help you address!
General inquires may be sent to [email protected], or feel free to directly address any member of the CLMP staff.
Face Out: Maximizing the Visibility of Emerging Writers
It is often said that when a writer completes a book, her work has just begun. Emerging writers often find publication through small presses that struggle to compete in today’s competitive marketplace. The Face Out Program supports exceptional writers in partnership with their publishers to put a spotlight on important new experimental titles.
The Face Out program invites new applications every two years (funding permitting). Applications for the current round are no longer being accepted. If the program again receives funding, the next call for applications will take place in 2018.
FACE OUT: Maximizing the Visibility of Emerging Writers vol. 5 can be found here.
FACE OUT is made possible from generous support from the Jerome Foundation and the New York Community Trust.
