Applications for The Literary Arts Emergency Fund are due this Friday, August 7. Please join us tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4 at 2:00 pm ET to hear from the executive directors of the Fund’s managing organizations: Jennifer Benka of The Academy of American Poets, Mary Gannon of CLMP, and Lisa Lucas of the National Book Foundation. They will discuss the Fund’s guidelines and answer questions.

Made possible by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the fund will provide $3.5 million to the literary arts field. Literary organizations and publishers can apply for a one-time emergency relief grant ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 and the grants will be distributed by September 15, 2020.
