Fantastic Mischief

Show us your rangers in taverns, your whimsical narrators, and your mischievous bards! We are looking for anything fantasy: magical battles, winged creatures, cozy wizards, whatever suits your fancy. Whether in poetry or prose, the Fantastic Mischief Contest winner and finalists will relay imagery in rich, vivid language.

The Fantastic Mischief Contest is accepting submissions until August 30th.

Featured work will be published in the online magazine and in a Four Tulips print issue.

Submission Guidelines

Prose: Submit no more than one prose piece at a time. Prose formatting should be single-spaced and no longer than 2,000 words. Submit as Microsoft Word or PDF.

Poetry: Submit no more than three poems at a time. Poems should be formatted single-spaced as a Microsoft Word or a PDF file.

There is a $2 reading fee which pays for reviews and copies of the print issue for winners and finalists. We do not accept submissions previously published in other publications including those that have been self-published. We do, however, accept submissions previously published on personal blogs.
