shoegaze literary is back for a second themed issue, subtitled “act of attrition”. our editors invite you to submit poetry and fiction.
what is attrition?
㋛ the loss of an employee

㋛ reduction of strength
㋛ sorrow, but not contrition, for sin
we are interested in formal apologies, not quite remorseful confessions, and terms of surrender. we seek work that engages with rates of attrition, dropping off or dropping out, and explores domestic / cyber wars of attrition.
whatever grinds you down, whatever gets you on your knees.
shoegaze literary is open to a broad interpretation of its theme. if you feel your work fits, we are excited to consider it.
