Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
A Center for Excellence, the Champlain College Publishing Initiative (CCPI) is a media studio for students to create, learn about, and be inspired by the many challenges faced by publishing industry professionals today. Students working with CCPI build and develop skills such as writing and editing for diverse audiences, graphic and website design, marketing/PR, event planning, social media management and public speaking. CCPI prepares students to be confident and proficient in print and digital editorial, design and production processes as they interact with and work on behalf of their clients and prepare for a wide range of publishing careers.
