Submissions Policy
There are two rules for submissions: 1) If you work in/around the coffee industry, the submission can be about anything, and; 2) If you don't work in coffee, the submission has to be about coffee somehow. People send their submissions to me ([email protected]), but I would love to have a Submittable page to gather and keep track of all submissions. So far I have found room in every issue to publish a bit of work by everyone who has submitted. The number of submissions are beginning to outgrow my page capacity, however, so I will need to find a way to pick which submissions will be accepted and published every issue. I'm in the process of launching a Patreon page, and one of the higher tier options includes voting rights, so soon my Patreons will be able to help me narrow the submission pool down each issue. I haven't paid contributors in the past, but will begin to do so with the upcoming Issue 10 in September, which will feature work exclusively by Black coffee creatives (including my hired editor).
