Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Diptych Press is a feminist publisher of unusual books from around the world. We promote the idea of literature as a conversation between writers and readers, between authors and translators, between English and other languages, and we aim to publish stories that speak to each other across linguistic, national, and cultural boundaries. Twice a year, Diptych will release a pair of books in thematic conversation with each other: one in translation, one originally written in English. Our publishing program will be supplemented by events centered around the conversation inspired by each pair, including readings, panel discussions, and workshops.
