How Did You Arrive At Your Current Position?
Previous experience with Swallow's Tale Press and Sun Dog Magazine.
What Is The Staff Structure At Your Magazine/press?
Other than myself, the staff consists basically students, who design and typeset many of the books, proofread, maintain the website, and ship orders.
Do You Have Any Cover Letter Advice?
Keep matters brief, let me know if you see a similarity in your work and something we have published, and give a brief summary of your latest publications.
How Are Submissions Processed In Your Magazine/press?
I read all incoming work, for as long as it holds my interest.
What Do You Look For In A Submission?
Individual voice is my primary concern. I am fairly eclectic in my likes, otherwise.
What Advice Do You Have For First-time Submitters?
Polish your work.
Do You Have A Favorite Unsolicited Submission Discovery Or Anecdote?
I typically fall in love with works sent on first read, so all the books I publish become a favorite discovery.
Who Is Your Ideal Reader?
Someone who would rather read than watch TV.
