Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Meekling Press is a small “boundary defying” publishing collective based in Chicago. We are a low-scale and DIT (Do It Together!) press, and work in collaboration with our authors throughout the design and production process. We are not so interested in boundaries of genre, or in restrictions of length as we are in a commitment to an idea, a distinct vision and voice. Meekling was founded in 2012 and many of our editions have been printed and bound in-house on our collection of old-fangled printing presses. Since 2019 or so, we've also been publishing trade paperbacks.
