Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Please See Me is an online literary journal that features health- and healthcare-related stories in the form of short stories, flash fiction, creative nonfiction, essays, poetry, and digital media, including photography, podcasts, and short films. At the heart of our publication is the desire to equalize the playing field and cultivate a creative community of equity where everyone feels welcome to share his, her or their health-related story. We seek to nurture patient–provider partnerships in the spirit of wellness so that everyone can see what health and wellness is, and is not. We invite work written by patients, family members, creatives, caregivers, healthcare consumers, and providers from every corner of the world.
