Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
The Concrete Desert Review is a student-led literary magazine comprised of students from California State University San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus. Our mission is to create accessible ways for diverse perspectives to showcase their work. We are particularly interested in work by writers, poets, and artists from marginalized communities. The Concrete Desert Review strives to feature the most distinct and ambitious voices of the day, whether they echo as a whisper or as a roar. Though our literary magazine was founded on a strong sense of community, we look forward to literary, poetic, and visual works from far beyond the boundaries of the San Bernardino mountains.
