Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
The Earth Journal seeks to marry up scientific features with literary and artistic responses to the issues raised. For example, a scientist writing on reforestation and forests as carbon sequesters would be matched up with a literary piece featuring forests as an image or theme. The principle is to encourage dialogue between the scientific or technical sides of the climate change conversation with literary and artistic perspectives. We are a journal focussed on bringing to light issues that may be overlooked or that do not reach a mass audience, in the context of climate change.
