We are excited to discover new ways writers are defamiliarizing traditional forms of written language. Selected works may be experimenting with genre, with specific elements of craft (point of view, line break, time, etc.), or with multimedia forms.

Do You Have A Favorite Unsolicited Submission Discovery Or Anecdote?
There are many favorites, though "Suzume, an Origami Bird at the Apocalypse" by Karen An-hwei Lee comes immediately to mind. The poem defamiliarizes through shifts in form and language and by presenting common objects out of context.
