The Other Journal is a twice-yearly digital journal that has been bolstering religious scholarship, cultural commentary, and interdisciplinary discourse since 2003. Attempting to remain a step more popular than the typical scholarly journal and a step more scholarly than popular magazines, we provide readers with provocative and insightful religious commentary on social issues, political events, and cultural trends in hopes of building an informed, diverse, and engaged society. This totally free online journal (and archive), which reaches 8,500 readers every month, is made possible by a 10-person, part-time staff stretching across the globe.
