Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Newness. Mystery. Beauty. Radiance. When we read submissions, we seek poems that give us a little shiver, poems that catch the light and compel us to look closer. We value poets and poetry, the diverse range of human expression, and community. We affirm the complexity of human identity and seek to amplify and uplift a multiplicity of expressions. While we are a poetry specific journal, we don’t seek to limit the definition of poetry. Rather we encourage and feature poetry that disrupts conventional assumptions, that is startling and alive. We publish poets in all stages of their career.
