Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Sandstorm publishes art, photography, short stories, and poetry from around the world. We request that manuscripts be formatted as such: Times New Roman, 12 points, and double spaced. We appreciate work that is punctuated and grammatical. The editors look for work with a social consciousness, but as for that, we do not have any bias that leans toward the lyric or narrative impulse, or formal or open--either is acceptable as long as the writer displays a sense of the organic. We also respect the objective correlative, shunning any detached abstraction. For photography and art, images should be submitted in pdf.
All submissions should come with contact information and bio of 50-100 words.
