CLMP’s Editors of Color Meetups provide a space for editors of color in literary publishing to connect, discuss issues related to their work, share resources, and support one another. They are moderated by NaBeela Washington, founder and editor in chief of Lucky Jefferson.
The meetup on October 10 at 4 p.m. ET will focus on a discussion about editing works in translation. What do editors need to know about translated works? How does working with translators differ from working with authors? How do editors recognize a stellar translation?
This event is open to editors from CLMP member organizations who identify as people of color.
