We continue to lean towards books that ignite a discussion on the challenges we face as technology advances faster than our culture can process and absorb it, as well as memoirs that—through the slice of life they examine—cut deeply into our assumptions about what it means to be human. This may sound heavy—and of course we always love a light, entertaining read—but our focus is on books that stimulate the mind and spark the imagination. We also work intensively with our authors to help them grow in their profession. We don't just make better books; we make better writers.

What Do You Look For In A Submission?
Ultimately, we want to be both moved and educated by a book. Is the author a good storyteller (this applies to both non-fiction and fiction)? Is the writing clear and the book well organized? Can we picture the scenes the author is describing?
