Fieldmouse Press is a nonprofit publisher of comics and literature based in Grass Valley, California. Founded in 2019, Fieldmouse Press is committed to expanding the reach and appreciation of the comics arts. Fieldmouse Press publishes the online literary magazine SOLRAD, and since 2021, has begun publishing international and American comics. We are passionate about comics and our goal is to advance the medium through the publication of new and underrepresented voices. We believe that comics should be a place for every story and every person.

Submissions Policy
Fieldmouse Press is currently OPEN TO SUBMISSIONS for upcoming seasons.
Our editors are looking for high-quality fiction, nonfiction, and poetry comics that have a clear voice and artistic vision. Our editors solicit promising work from a variety of sources, including translation and localization of comics never before published in English.
Please note that we do not accept unsolicited submissions outside of submission open periods.
Please send submissions of at least 10 pages of comics via low-resolution PDF to [email protected] along with a cover letter. Do not send unsolicited file sharing links (e.g. DropBox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer). We do not respond to all submissions and we do not read scripts or proposals. We do not pair artists and writers. Fieldmouse Press is currently only accepting submissions for comics. Physical copies of submissions are not preferred at this time due to our decentralized team.
