Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Mister Magazine is a yearly art and literature magazine prioritizing emerging and marginalized creators, but open to all. For traditionally underrepresented creatives, entering the litmag scene can be an incredibly daunting experience; at Mister, we hope to create a friendly space for those new to this exciting and expansive world. Though we refer to ourselves as a ‘litmag’, we will consider all forms of work for publication. This includes traditional printed material, such as written work, photography, and visual art, as well as more atypical mediums such as film, music, and more. Ultimately, we hope to foster reciprocal and respectful relationships with our contributors.
