StoryNews is an online literary journal committed to showcasing the human stories behind headlines. We run nonfiction pieces (prose, visual art, and multimedia) told in reaction to news articles, either contemporary or historical. Our mission isn’t to convert folks to new political ideologies, but to give people of all backgrounds insights into each other’s worldviews for the sake of understanding and more open dialogues, both personally and globally. We’re open to submissions (our debut issue launches this summer), and thought your readers and followers might be interested. All stories are welcome—so long as they are true, thoughtful, vulnerable, and free of hate speech or bigotry.
