Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Since 2005, The Green Silk Journal has published mostly short stories and poetry, furthering the career of many new writers while continuing to attract the talents of the well published. Since inception, the mission has been to produce as pure a publication as possible, focusing on featuring the craft of the writers with no added distracting advertisements. Open to all genres, Green Silk looks for the zing found in artfully told tales with or without humor and especially favors poetry written in color with emotions that move the reader. Green Silk will not publish violent or suicidal pieces.
