Amazon Literary Partnership (ALP) funds organizations working to champion diverse, marginalized, and underrepresented authors and storytellers. Previous grant recipients represent both local and national institutions of all sizes and include internationally acclaimed publishers of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry; nonprofit writing centers; residencies; fellowships; after-school classes; and national organizations supporting storytelling and free speech. In 2024, ALP provided nearly $1 million in grant funding to 93 literary organizations across the country.
The submission period typically opens in spring of each year and recipients are typically notified in June.
