You’re invited to join us and Greenlight Bookstore at this annual event—part of the Brooklyn Book Festival Bookends series—celebrating Brooklyn’s independent publishers!
The 12th Annual Brooklyn Indie Party will feature 53rd State Press, A Public Space, Akashic Books, Black Sun Lit / Vestiges, BOMB Magazine, Circumference, Creature Publishing, Enchanted Lion, Ig Publishing, Litmus Press, Melville House, Nightboat, No Dear, One Story, Poets & Traitors Press, Radix Media, Restless Books, The Song Cave, Turtle Point Press, and Ugly Duckling Presse.
Each of these presses and magazines has selected its top titles of the season and contributed questions for an epic Brooklyn Literary Trivia contest. (The champion wins a Greenlight tote bag stuffed with a copy of every title!) With a soundtrack curated by Akashic Books’ Johnny Temple, drinks demo by One Story’s Hannah Tinti, and more surprises in store, this virtual event hearkens back to the unforgettable packed bookstore parties of years past, for a festive start to Brooklyn Book Festival weekend!
