In the first event of our Business Models Roundtable Series, Will Evans of Deep Vellum Publishing, Simeon Marsalis of Lampblack, and Julie Wan of Vita Poetica Journal share their experiences as nonprofit publishers, including the benefits and challenges of this business model, and the process for securing 501(c)3 status. The moderated panel discussion will be followed by time for questions from attendees.
