Join us on January 14, 1:30-2:45 PM EST for the third installment in our Zoom roundtable series, Teaching Literary Magazine Publishing, where teachers and editors of student-staffed literary magazines come together to share their thoughts on teaching editorial responsibilities, discuss pedagogical challenges they face, and explore helpful solutions and resources. Editors Anna Lena Phillips Bell (Ecotone and Lookout Books) and Beth Staples (Shenandoah) will lead a conversation on the topic of building and maintaining team rapport online. Editor Stephanie G’Schwind (Colorado Review) will additionally share her experiences and insight of working with a student staff. We’ll talk about how to strike a balance between faculty and student editorial contributions, how to encourage students to work as a group, and what pedagogical tools are useful for supporting inclusivity.
