CLMP’s Editors of Color Meetups provide a space for editors of color in literary publishing to connect, discuss issues related to their work, share resources, and support one another. They are moderated by NaBeela Washington, founder and editor in chief of Lucky Jefferson.
The meetup on January 24 at 4 p.m. ET will focus on a discussion about funding for publishers and BIPOC authors. Where can you find funding for projects focused on BIPOC writing? How do you communicate the value of your work to potential funders? And what funding strategies have been successful for publishers in the past?
