Join CLMP on Tuesday, April 30, at 4 p.m. ET to hear from the Poetry Foundation on their recently launched Small Press Bridge Fund, which will assist nonprofit publishers impacted by the abrupt closure of Small Press Distribution (SPD).
Effective immediately, nonprofit presses that publish poetry, including those that are fiscally sponsored, can request a bridge grant from the Poetry Foundation. Grants will be awarded in amounts up to $7,500 and are meant to cover the unanticipated expenses associated with SPD’s dissolution, including shipping and handling fees, storage fees, and costs associated with getting established at a new distributor.
Staff from the Poetry Foundation will discuss eligibility guidelines, how to apply, and answer questions from attendees.
