Join CLMP on October 10 at 4 p.m. ET for our monthly member meetup. Our special guest will be BRIET, a project through which independent publishers can sell (not license) permanent copies of quality ebooks directly to libraries and schools to loan to patrons, just as they would with paper books. BRIET’s goal is to provide a healthy, sustainable revenue stream for independent publishers and help protect traditional library rights and the preservation of digital culture.
We will be joined by David Moore, project lead at BRIET, who will share information about BRIET, explain how publishers can get involved, and answer questions from attendees.
