For Booksellers & Librarians

CLMP is dedicated to helping bookstores and libraries carry and spotlight books published by independent literary publishers. The following resources are designed to help booksellers and librarians stay abreast of what’s happening with indie presses and literary magazines.

Indie Lit on the Shelf
Indie Lit on the Shelf, CLMP’s monthly newsletter for booksellers, features roundups of award-winning and top-selling books from the small-press literary world, spotlights on magazines and presses from across the country, and the latest news from indie publishers.

Themed Roundups for Bookstores and Libraries
These monthly roundups, designed to help booksellers and librarians spotlight independently published literature year-round, each feature 10 to 12 books around a specific occasion or theme. (Discover longer themed reading lists, featuring dozens of titles each, here.)

Publisher Spotlights
CLMP regularly publishes Q&As with independent literary magazines and presses. Each spotlight offers an overview of the featured publisher’s history, its editorial and aesthetic styles and areas of focus, and recent books it has published.

New Books from Indie Presses
These roundups each feature dozens of books published by independent literary presses every month—offering bookstores and libraries an excellent way to stay abreast of new titles.

New Magazine Issues
Booksellers and librarians can learn more about current publications with these monthly lists of new print and digital magazine issues.
