ACM is open for poetry submissions

Call For Submissions

Another Chicago Magazine (ACM)‬ is once again open for poetry submissions. We read all styles of poetry, however we tend to publish work that is more experimental and/or sonically driven. Please submit 3-5 poems, no more than 7 pages. We accept simultaneous submissions but ask that you let us know when your work is accepted elsewhere. As a rule, we don’t re-publish work.

We charge a small reading fee to cover the cost of Submittable. We waive the fee for BIPOC, formerly or currently incarcerated, and/or low-income poets, as well as writers from underrepresented rural areas.

We are always open for poetry by Palestinian writers and artists, including people who are part of the Palestinian diaspora, and reviews of recently published full-length collections from independent and university presses. Feel free to send queries.

ACM is online only. If you feel so moved, please “like” and follow ACM on Facebook, Twitter, Bluesky, and LinkedIn.

Thanks for thinking of ACM. We look forward to reading your work.
