The Santa Clara Review is thrilled to announce our new contest, “Flash Takes Flight”! Please send in your best flash fiction and nonfiction for a chance to win cash prizes and publication in the Fall 2025 issue of the Review. The winner will receive $200 and publication in the magazine, and the first and second runners-up will win $100 and $50 respectively, as well as consideration for publication. Our final judge will be Claudia Monpere, the winner of the 2024 New Flash Fiction Prize from New Flash Fiction Review and the 2024 Refractions: Genre Flash Fiction Prize from Uncharted Magazine. There is a $10 submission fee, and we request that submissions are 1,000 words or less. Submissions will close May 16th, 2025.
