Page Turner Magazine at Emerson College is now accepting General Art Submissions!
General Art Submissions are open to ANY CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENT, and the pieces submitted can be any medium of genre fiction-based art (photography, painting, hand drawing, etc). Open from September 29, 2025 to January 31, 2026. You can email [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions.
As with our fiction submissions, do not include your name on the piece, as we evaluate all pieces on a blind submission basis. In addition to the guidelines listed in the above “right to reject” section, we will not accept artwork that includes hateful words, symbols, or any other material that PTM deems inappropriate for display. General submissions art pieces can also be considered to be the cover art for our Spring 2026 print issue.
- Convey the spirit of genre fiction (subjective, but that is the goal)
- We accept both digital files & high-resolution scans
- FULL COLOR
- size= no larger than A4 (230 mm x 297 mm or 8.268 in x 11.693 in)
- bleed= 0.125 in
- ALL images should be at least 300 ppi
- Saved as a .jpeg file
HOW TO SUBMIT:
Ready your artwork as a JPEG and attach it to the form.
File naming convention for your artwork is: [YourTitle].jpg
Reminder: Do not include your name in the file name or in the piece title.

Note: No submission fee required, n0 monetary compensation provided, selected artists’ works will be featured in our PRINT magazine that publishes in Spring 2026, and a social media feature is likely.
