Offered each fall and spring, this semester-long initiative supports CLMP Members by providing additional benefits for their internship and student programs. Participants have the opportunity to network with a national cohort of other interns and student workers, receive mentorship from CLMP staff, and attend skill-building sessions on independent publishing.
CLMP Student/Intern Group benefits also include
- A series of monthly meetups with facilitated conversations and professional advice about working in the literary field
- A Slack group where participants may post questions, engage in discussions, share resources, and connect with one another
- Access to the CLMP Student/Intern LinkedIn Group for continued networking, job opportunities, etc. for current participants and alumni
- Best-practices resources about working at literary magazines and presses
- Invitations to CLMP Events
Students, interns, and other early career professionals working at CLMP member presses or magazines may apply to participate.
Please contact Chelsea Kern, Programs Director, at [email protected] with questions.
