I'm looking for work that does something I've never seen before. Something that surprises me. I love writing that does weird and wonderful things with language.

Do You Have A Favorite Unsolicited Submission Discovery Or Anecdote?
I had someone who submitted a very long poem-which I thought was a bit uneven. But I took a chance and asked if he would let me take one little bit of it which I loved and thought worked really well on its own. And he agreed. Which felt really good.
Who Is Your Ideal Reader?
Someone who's open to work which is not strictly narrative. Someone who understands that there are so many other things that a poem can do besides simply tell a story. Language itself is a story.
