Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Blueline: A Literary Magazine Dedicated to the Spirit of the Adirondacks has been celebrating the region since 1979. Each issue features quality poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art focused on nature’s shaping influence. While always promoting literature and art about the Adirondacks, Blueline also publishes works that interpret the cultures of northern New York, New England, and eastern Canada. In recent issues the magazine has also printed exceptional nonfiction about places as far afield as Alaska and North Dakota and as close to home as the Hudson Valley.
