Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
BoomerLitMag, an online quarterly magazine, has a home base in the Boomer generation but presents high quality and accessible writing from any writer on any theme. We’ve published college writers as well as internationally known writers such as Marge Piercy. We like smart, nuanced, accessible writing with concrete images and strong characters. We don’t publish highly abstract works or nostalgia pieces. To get a sense of what we mean by that, please check out a recent issue or two. We ask for three to seven pages of poetry or under 20 pages of prose and only one submission per reading period.
