Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Now in it's 24th year as the Hudson Valley's longest running poetry performance series, Calling All Poets Series (CAPS) welcomes poets of every level of experience to step up to the mic and let their words ring true. Through Zoom we now have an international presence and membership. We began CAPS Press in 2015 with the publication of of our first anthology. Two ekphrastic based titles followed, along with Mightier - Poets For Social Justice and our 20th Anniversary Anthology in 2021. Two titles by local award winning poets - Larry Carr's Paradise Lost and Fred Poole's SkyRocket Dive round out our published titles. It is with great anticipation that we look forward to publishing our 25th Anniversary Anthology in 2024.
