Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
ČERVENÁ BARVA PRESS was founded in April of 2005. The press solicits full-length books of poetry, fiction, and translations from writers all over the world. In the past 17 years, we have been one of the most active presses in the country offering workshops, readings, artist series, translation roundtables, poetry roundtables, subscription plans, and a bookstore, The Lost Bookshelf. Please see submission guidelines for current information concerning our open reading period for chapbooks. We look for work that has a strong voice, is unique, and takes risks.
