Cold Brew Press will offer small press books (poetry, fiction, flash fiction, chapbooks), comic books, graphic novels, board/card games and collectibles for readers, gamers and pop culture enthusiasts who value challenging ideas and stories. Part of CBP’s mission will be highlighting new voices across typically underrepresented communities (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, allies, etc.). CBP is a gay-owned press.

Submissions Policy
Submissions to Cold Brew Press will be accepted only through Submittable. No unsolicited general submissions (i.e. work that does not qualify for specific calls for submission); agented submissions welcome. Specific calls for submission will be posted to Cold Brew Press’ website and social media channels, including criteria for a project. Work generally accepted by CBP will be for an adult, 18+ audience only. CBP accepts work across various genres, but typically will not consider romance, religious, or nonfiction works. All works must adhere to the following standards: no racism, sexism, misogyny, xenophobia, homophobia, or transphobia; no bestiality; and no pedophilia. CBP is a sex-positive publisher, so works exploring gender/sexual identity, fetish, kink and related topics are welcome. Payment on publication. Advance on royalties (based on print run), plus royalties on sales beyond stipulated advance levels; exact payment structure determined on a case-by-case basis. CBP acquires One-Time Rights, Reprint Rights, and Electronic Rights for projects, and any other rights negotiated between the poet/author/creator and CBP where applicable. All other rights not expressly listed on a contract with CBP will revert to the poet/author/creator upon publication. Publishes work up to one year after acceptance. Responds in 2-3 months on submissions.
