Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
A literary, music and art magazine with a focus on publishing creative endeavors that do not shy away from daring/controversial/sensitive works of art, lyrics, music and poetry. Not to shock for shock's sake, that's just... boring, but to showcase the true extent of human experience through hand picked examples of true inspiration and spotlighting the best/most beautiful Dutch lyrics/poetry/art by publishing these alongside an English translation of those works, focussing on the poet/lyricist/artist as well as on the translators. We aim to do this by including a section called 'Dutch treat' in every issue. We just want to enjoy creating and sustaining a lo-fi but serious mag filled with great content and learn more about the English literary landscape while doing so. + maybe, just maybe make some new friends in the process...
