Faun by Moonlight is an online literary magazine dedicated to literary fiction. We publish works that resist simple genre classification. Works that aren't scared of pushing boundaries, bending rules, but above all, being creative. Our specialty is the exceptionally unmarketable. Our mission is to present you, our reader, with literature that both challenges and exceeds your expectations. Our first volume is currently in development and will launch in November 2025. We invite you to return then to enjoy the phenomenal works we've discovered. Faun by Moonlight is also a paying market. We pay $20 for stories under 5,000 words, $50 for stories 5,000+ words.
